Adoption Feature: Baloo
Meet Baloo! He has been at the Wallis Annenberg Pet Space for a little over two years and he's ready to find his forever home! We met this amazing pup in August and couldn't believe that he has been overlooked by so many for so long, so we set out to help him find the perfect forever family!
Though he's 10 years old, Baloo is healthy, well trained, and if you come and visit him, he'd even love to show you his water treadmill skills. Baloo is a big fella, but don't be intimidated. He is quiet, calm, well-behaved, and might just be your perfect Netflix buddy.
Baloo likes attention, but it's best if he comes to you first. Everyone at Pet Space says he acts more like a cat because he likes his space - but hey, don't we all! He's pretty easy-going, potty trained and loves nice, slow walks anytime.
He does like other dogs, but as mentioned, he needs a little space to breathe and responds well to positive reinforcement. Baloo's ideal home would be one with an older couple and one without kids (teens are fine though). He LOVES his toys and would prefer to have them left exactly where they are. Speaking of toys, Baloo wants to be the only pup in the house - what can we say, he gets a little jealous.
If you're looking for the type of guy who is chilled out, doesn't require a two-hour hike, loves to lounge around and take naps - Baloo's your pup. He'd love to meet you. It's been too long and he's ready to go home. Stop by and we can check out the pond he like to visit.
