Clear the Shelters!

June 26, 2020 1 min read

As much as we love Independence Day, the July 4th holiday also results in the highest shelter intake wave of the year. The barrage of fireworks and outdoor activities leads to a high number of runaway dogs. As a result, on July 5th shelters can become overwhelmed with lost lost pups.

To make sure there is space for these lost dogs, we want to encourage you to help clear the shelters for the upcoming holiday. If you’re able to foster a pup, even if it’s just for a few days, you will be providing valuable space for the lost pups.

The more space we can provide, the more time rescue groups will have to reunite these dogs with their families!

Have a happy and safe July 4th and thank you, as always, for helping us change the world for every pup.
