Welcome back to our series, “How to Brew”!
Today we’re going to take your through how to make the perfect cup of coffee using a relatively new device in the world of coffee, the Clever Coffee Dripper. This device combines the simplicity of a French Press with the cleanliness of a Pour Over. Even better, this method is that it allows you to control steeping time while reducing your risk of having sediment at the bottom of your cup!
Step 1
Grab your filter and pre-wet it to ensure you get rid of any paper-like flavors and place it in your dripper.
Step 2
Add your coffee and remember – 2 tablespoons for every 6 ounces. We recommend using our Rescue Roast for this method as it provides a smooth, rich cup.
Step 3
Pour your water into the dripper and allow it to steep for about 2 minutes. Feel free to give it a little stir while you wait and be sure to give your pup a few belly rubs.
Step 4
Once steeping has finished, place the dripper on top of your favorite mug. Once complete, you can take the dripper off and the spring will lock back into place to avoid any mess.
Sip. Smile. Enjoy.
See you next time on “How to Brew”!

Summer has a flavor. It tastes like cold brew on a hot morning. Like sunscreen and lake water. Like beach towels in the backseat, sandy paws, campfire smoke, and late sunsets with your favorite people (and dogs) nearby.

Some dogs are easy to love.
Others are overlooked, labeled, or left behind.
At Grounds & Hounds Coffee Co., we believe those are the dogs who need us most.
That’s why we’re proud to partner with Forgotten, Now Family Rescue as our Rescue Roast beneficiary from May 1 through June 15—a rescue known for stepping in when others can’t.
For this limited time, 100% of Rescue Roast profits will go directly toward their lifesaving work.
