Surprising a Senior Shelter Pup with the Best Day Ever!
Today is National Spoil Your Dog Day, and while we loves spoiling our own pups, today we want to spoil a special senior shelter pup waiting for his forever home! Meko came to Young At Heart Senior Pet Adoptions at the age of nine, but as you can tell, he still has plenty of puppy energy left to share.
To give him a nice break from the shelter, and to remind him how much love is still to come in his future, we took Meko out on the town for the best day ever! From a picnic break to ice cream in town (and a quick stop to visit the filming site of Groundhog Day), we probably had even more fun that Meko!
Meko is available for adoption at Young at Heart in Northern Illinois and we'd love to see him find the perfect family as soon as possible! You can also support Meko and Young at Heart with every purchase of Rescue Roast for the entire month of August!
