"Perro Amado", or "Loved Dog". This special release microlot coffee celebrates all of our loved pups, and all of the loved pups still waiting in shelters to find a forever family. Perro Amado is 100% direct trade from the Zongolica region of Veracruz, Mexico. Lightly roasted to highlight the delicious notes of the Zongolica region, your first sip will uncover rich notes of milk chocolate and caramel, accented by delicate hints of rose petal, brown sugar, and nutmeg. 

The only thing more amazing than the taste of Perro Amado is the story of where and how this coffee came to be. From the Zongolica region of Veracruz, the coffee in this limited release microlot was grown and harvested by a co-op of twenty women known as the WPZ–“Women Power Zongolica.” The coffee farms managed by the WPZ are agro-ecosystems that balance the output of coffee with the long-term sustainability of the region’s biodiversity and health.
