Today’s guest blogger is Toja, an adorable pup in search of his forever home.
Hello, I’m Toja. As you can see, I’m a pretty cute doggo. I’m about 5 years old and I’m looking for a house and a family to call my own. I’m currently in Savannah, GA with the good folks at the Humane Society of Greater Savannah. But I know my forever family is going to find me soon.
So, a little about me. I’m a pittie mix and I love EVERYBODY. I mean it. Everybody. I get along with people, other dogs, cats and kids. In fact, I’m such a social butterfly, I get pretty nervous when I’m not around others. I don’t mean to, and I’m working really hard on it. But it’s probably why I’ve been returned to the rescue three times.
But, my foster family has been taking a lot of time to help me get over my anxiety. They got me a special collar that helps me feel calm. I also take some medication and listen to music. It all seems to be helping. And now, we have practice sessions where the fosters leave the house for a few minutes at a time. I just need to learn that they’re not leaving forever when they go!
I’d love to live in a very full house. The more people and pups, the better. If you know of anybody looking for a sweet dog who just wants to be your shadow, please have them inquire about me with the Humane Society of Greater Savannah.

Summer has a flavor. It tastes like cold brew on a hot morning. Like sunscreen and lake water. Like beach towels in the backseat, sandy paws, campfire smoke, and late sunsets with your favorite people (and dogs) nearby.

Some dogs are easy to love.
Others are overlooked, labeled, or left behind.
At Grounds & Hounds Coffee Co., we believe those are the dogs who need us most.
That’s why we’re proud to partner with Forgotten, Now Family Rescue as our Rescue Roast beneficiary from May 1 through June 15—a rescue known for stepping in when others can’t.
For this limited time, 100% of Rescue Roast profits will go directly toward their lifesaving work.

Now through April 30, 100% of the profits from our Rescue Roast coffee will directly support Muddy Paws and their mission to end unnecessary euthanasia of companion dogs.
