A beautiful pup named Ember came to Houston Chow Chow Connection with matted fur and a few medical issues. But, after some love and care from her foster mom, Ember is fully healthy and ready for her forever home.
According to her foster mom, Ember is absolutely fabulous and will make the perfect family dog. In fact, she said that if she didn’t already have so many dogs, she would have already made Ember a part of her family.
Ember can be timid and is not the typical headstrong chow. She’s obedient to basic commands like “hush” or “leave it”. She is submissive to other dogs and will do great with any dog because she doesn’t try to be the “top dog.”
With proper care, grooming, and diet, she's been doing extremely well. She's playful and dog friendly, but cats are a wild card! She does well with some, and wants to chase all the rest.
Ember follows her foster mom everywhere and it’s obvious that she’s desperate to find one owner that she can be loyal to. Once she trusts you, she’s very loving and affectionate and wants to be by your side constantly.
Ember is a 5 year old purebred Chow Chow and is located in the Baton Rouge, LA area.
If you are interested in adopting, please contact Houston Chow Chow Connection at chowmail.hccc@gmail.com
Or if your home is already full of pups, please consider sharing Ember’s video. Thank you for helping us get the word out!
