Featured Adoptable Pup: Walker

June 30, 2020 1 min read

Meet Walker! He's a beautiful Doberman Pinscher mix that's available for adoption in West Los Angeles, CA.  In fact, he's been available for a while now.  This incredibly sweet pup has been at Dobies and Little Paws Rescue for over three years.  Luckily, for the past month, he's gotten a taste of the good life with a wonderful foster. But it's past time to find his forever family.

Walker has a chemical burn scar that runs along his back, but it doesn't affect him in any way.  Perhaps the look of the scar has kept potential adopters away, but now that he's getting some TLC at his foster home, his coat is starting to come in. He's had it pretty tough in his life so far, but you would never know by how loving, gentle and kind he is.

When we learned about Walker's story from his foster, we knew we had to help get the word out. Let's make sure his next stop is his forever home! To find out more about Walker: http://www.dobiesandlittlepawsrescue.org/Walker.html.

Did you know that over 67,000 dogs are used for laboratory testing and research in the United States each year. That’s a tremendous amount of dogs.
