Support Mission K9 Through August 15th!

July 29, 2020 1 min read

After suffering two ACL tears, Vvito, an explosive detection dog for the Navy, was forced into an early retirement.  Stuck in Europe for his surgery and rehabilitation, this poor pup had nobody he knew to take care of him.  That’s when this month’s rescue roast partner, Mission K9 Rescue saved the day!

Covering all the expenses to get Vvito back to the United States, Mission K9 worked to provide this pup with the perfect retirement, in the care of a familiar face. Mission K9 was able to track down Vvito’s former Navy handlers, Jesse Robinson.  Jesse was ecstatic to learn that he would be able to adopt Vvito, leading to a tail wagging reunion that was only possible through Mission K9’s efforts.

Through August 15th, 100% of the profits from your purchase of Rescue Roast will help fund these emotional reunions.  So we hope you’ll grab a bag and support more life changing second chances through Mission K9 Rescue.

While this space is not going to shelter the dogs, (the amazing foster homes will still be taking care of that), it will support the foster families while the dogs are in their care.

This amazing group focuses on the "underdogs" of the rescue world. Bully breeds with special needs. Unfortunately, the truth is that bully breeds or even dogs that are misidentified as pit bulls spend more time in the shelter than their counterparts of other breeds. The situation is even more dire for pit bulls with special needs, such as medical or behavioral issues.
