Did you know that since 2011, there are one million FEWER animals entering shelters each year and euthanasia rates have decreased by 75% over the past decade?!
This week we’re celebrating Dog Day, which is the perfect excuse to celebrate all of the amazing pups in our lives. But the day has an extra special meaning for us here at Grounds & Hounds, as the celebration also highlights the importance and impact of animal rescue.
Promoting adoption has been a core focus of our mission since we launched and It’s amazing to see how the collective efforts in the rescue world are helping so many amazing pups.
But, we know the fight isn’t over yet… not until the number of dogs in shelters is zero.
Whether it’s by volunteering in your shelter, fostering a pup in need or simply buying our coffee, we hope you’ll join us saving lives 365 days a year!

Every year millions of animals end up in shelters for one reason or another. Unfortunately, space is limited in these shelters and some dogs never get the chance to find a forever home. Furthermore, some of these animals require special attention that is hard to give in a shelter environment. But the good news is that you can help by becoming a dog foster parent!
