About the HERO Program

September 01, 2020 1 min read

Don’t forget that through September 30th, 100% of profits from Rescue Roast will go to Great Plains SPCA and their HERO Team.  This special program helps pups by assisting the people who love them.

HERO, which stands for Humane. Education. Resources. Outreach., ensures that pets stay in homes.  Great Plains SPCA goes into the Kansas City community and delivers pet supplies to people who need just a little extra help.  The HERO team provides pet food, dog houses, bedding, medication, or anything else that helps with caring for pets.  Last year, they helped 500 families, 2,000 animals and handed out 20,000 pounds of pet food.

This essential service helps keep the shelters clear, saving space for dogs that may come in off the street.  And, most importantly, it keeps families together.  So please pick up a bag of Rescue Roast before September 30th and let’s make sure that every pup has an opportunity to live in a loving home!
