Skip the Line: Bourbon Milk Punch
Nothing says “treat yourself” like Fat Tuesday in New Orleans. For those of us who can’t make it to Mardi Gras in The Big Easy this year, we stopped by our friend, Lisa Stelly’s from Fancy Sprinkles to bring a little bit of the celebration right to you with our version of the classic Bourbon Milk Punch cocktail!
Ingredients
- 4 ounces 2% milk
- 2 ½ tablespoons half and half
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 ½ ounces of bourbon
- 2 ounces of cold brew (we recommend using our Alpha Blend)
- 4 teaspoons of powdered sugar
- Ground nutmeg and some Fancy Sprinkles to garnish
Directions
- Fill your cocktail shaker with cubed ice
- Gently pour on your half and half, vanilla and most important ingredient, bourbon
- Lastly, add in your powdered sugar before closing the shaker
- Once closed, shake vigorously for 25-30 seconds
- Strain the cocktail into a few of your favorite glasses
- Add a dash of nutmeg and Fancy Sprinkle top it off
