Piper is a truly special girl seeking an equally special forever family. She's only three years old, but has spent most of her life with fosters or in the care of the West Suburban Humane Society in Downers Grove, IL.
Piper's foster mom describes her as having beauty, loyalty, and character to spare! She's a lazy pup at heart, loving naps and laying in the yard when the weather is nice. She also makes her fosters laugh every day with her goofy smile and silly walk.
As a puppy, Piper had Parvo and sustained some minor neurological damage from the fight. She is otherwise healthy now, but does have some coordination issues. It really doesn't slow her down, though, only adding to her charm. However it does mean she has some trouble with stairs and may sometimes bump her head when exploring new places.
Piper is a medium sized Doberman Pinscher mix who is about 3 years old. Her foster parents recommend she be the only dog in a house with no little kids and no stairs. She is currently located in Downers Grove, IL which is a suburb just outside of Chicago, IL.
To inquire about this beautiful pup, please email the West Suburban Humane Society at adoptiondesk@wshs-dg.org
