Christmas in July Rescue Toy Donation

It's the most wonderful time of the year... Christmas in July! This year, we're using the "holiday" as an excuse to make a toy donation to one of our partner rescues, Wags & Walks. Of course, this is all possible through your purchases and continued support of the Grounds & Hounds mission.

Every year around Christmas, Grounds & Hounds donates 10,000 dog toys to rescues and shelters across the country. It's one of our favorite programs, as it offers needed enrichment for pups waiting for their forever homes. Toys can help shelter dogs relieve stress, thereby reducing unwanted behaviors and making them stronger candidates for adoption.

So, with that in mind, we decided to get a head start on the holidays with this surprise pop in to Wags & Walks. And while Christmas in July may be the perfect reason to gift your local shelter with whatever they may need right now, you really don't need the holiday as an excuse. The rescue could always use your help throughout the year, whether through donations or volunteering.
