Devastated by the number of adorable pups being euthanized due to overcrowding LA shelter, Lesley Brog had to do something and thus Wags & Walks' was born. Ever since their opening in 2011, their team has been breaking the stigma that rescue dogs are damaged goods and to show the community that playful, cute pups of all breeds and sizes are the perfect companions.
Wags & Walks' has become the success it is today due to the hard-working, dog-loving, loyal and intelligent people that share the spirit of the mission. Every week the team drives hundreds of miles, racking up countless hours to save these pups. In 2018 alone, Wags & Walks' adopted 740 and put them into the loving homes they deserve. Since their inception, their team have placed over 4,000 dogs and have achieved a permanent residence on the west side of New York City.
While they have a home in NYC, they have expanded to another space in Los Angeles, California.
Grounds & Hounds couldn't be happier to support the Wags & Walks' team as they continue to change the world and provide as many pups as possible with a second chance. If you'd like to help us in cheering them on their mission, consider buying our Rescue Roast Blend!
